El basamento conceptual de la obra es el intercambio de ideas en el tiempo. La comunicación que queremos establecer con un futuro en el cual nos leamos a nosotros mismos veintiséis
años después, o que nuestras futuras generaciones nos lean. También basa su idea en la práctica humana por transcender a su tiempo y el anhelo de impactar el futuro.
El momento de la inauguración de la muestra colectiva Nido sin árbol curada por Galleria Continua(en donde la obra fue exhibida) fue el momento en que inicié el proyecto invitando al público
que escribiese y colocase los textos en la cápsula. Este día la cápsula fue cerrada y será enviada a San Gimignano (Italia) en donde hace 26 años se fundó Galleria Continua. El objeto y su contenido serán enterrados en los jardines de la galería durante los próximos veintiséis años.
The conceptual basis of the work is the exchange of ideas through time: a communication we engage with a future in which we “read ourselves” twenty-six years later, or an exchange with the future generations that read our texts.
Nido sin árbol exhibition’s opening (where I present this Project) was the dedicated moment to write and put all the texts in the capsule. On this day the capsule was close and will send
to San Gimignano (Italy), where Galleria Continua was founded. The object and its contents will be buried in the gardens of the gallery for the next twenty-six years.
Cápsula also bases its idea on the human practice of transcending its time and the wish to impact the future. Writing in the present time, knowing that only in twenty-six years our texts will be read is an idea that I consider beautiful. As well as
the fact of sharing this moment with new friends, future friends and those who have accompanied me up to this day. What reafrms this beauty is to think about that future moment in which those texts will be unveiled.
